The breakfast was very good and the location was also good
The hotel had a very tired feel to it and wasa undetrstaffed at times.In our room the tv did not work and no alternative was available also the electric shower was impossible to regulate

en-suite was bath instead of shower ,amenities were poor including lack of hot water.

Good place, not far from Edinburgh. Very close to Rosslyn chapel.
We booked a twin room, but they gave us a flat outside the hotel.The staff of the hotel lost the key of our flat, so we stayed one night without key. In the flat there wasn't hairdrier and the bed was very uncomfortable. The breakfast wasn't so good.
